i’m only 50. i met the guys in 88 and didn’t get to cbgb’s until 91. by the time i lived in nyc and could frequent cbgb, that scene was dead to me.

A friend of mine lived in White Plains and worked in Manhattan. When she took her car into the city parking garage, she had these big thick removable pads that were made of ballistic nylon and closed cell foam that she strapped onto the front and rear bumpers.

Can't help you with an appartment, but I can recommend a good Professional Moving Company whose service I used when moving to LA. They work in most of the states, NY for sure.
