No wonder you're a ramonesfreak. Probably hung out at cbgb's before Joey and his 'brothers' found fame and fortune.

Patsy's on 1st... its way uptown, or Difara by Brooklyn College, or Totonnos in Coney... Nathans...

Spumoni Gardens.. Those are the old school Pizza joints... now Lucali and Robertas

I was in Flushing visiting a friend.... and we stopped in this hole in the wall Korean BBQ joint near 149th and Northern

BBQ lamb... cucumber, tofu skin, kimchi salad....Cold noodles.... they brought a bunch of banchan a little later..

$30..

The Bronx...

Sausage chandelier

some a-hole buys some nduja, mozz, and soprasetta

A much more innocent time...my class trip to Governors Island.. before some nit-wits decide to knock down some buildings

Bumper to bumper traffic (keep in mind gas prices are going up).
Traffic is worse now than ever.. since covid more people are driving than ever, and many of those people have no right to be behind the wheel...

Out on LI where I live... commuter rail lots are empty..

Some of you all are some negative as eff mofos.
Word... I don't live in NYC, but I have worked there for almost 40 years... its just an amazing place....

Boy howdy!

HardDrive, I've spent many days in NYC (I would guess around 60 nights or so) and it is like no other place on earth. Good luck dude, and enjoy.

A friend of mine lived in White Plains and worked in Manhattan. When she took her car into the city parking garage, she had these big thick removable pads that were made of ballistic nylon and closed cell foam that she strapped onto the front and rear bumpers.

Can't help you with an appartment, but I can recommend a good Professional Moving Company whose service I used when moving to LA. They work in most of the states, NY for sure.
