Dear Penis is the only country song I’ve ever liked.

Oops, there is another....‘Don’t look now mommas got her boobs out’

Brian Regan is great too.

Eddy Murphy, Richard Pryor, Redd Foxx, Rodney Danger Field, Woody Allen, Steve Martin, Steven Wright, Andrew Dice Clay, Bob Hope, Abbott and Costello, Lewis Black, Lisa Lampanelli, Joan Rivers, Gilbert Gottfried, Jeff Ross. Good mix, I try to laugh at others but they fall flat on the funny scale. The above choices are rib splitters to me..

Milton Berle

He wasn't so funny on 50's TV because of the type of programs produced. But let him free and he was funny.

I certainly agree that Jonathan Winters was truly brilliant, but there was just something about Robin Williams' ability to respond so quickly, and to move from topic to topic in an almost dizzying way.

How about RW being the undisputed best at manic improv commedy?

I'm sorry to say (given his diagnosis) that you are right.

RW=Robin Williams.

(Edit: I did not read dw1's response) Williams was quicker. Winters was sooooo in the same camp. He just didn't do Adderal - lol.

Now, unless I missed it, no one has mentioned Norm MacDonald or Lewis CK.

Or Henny Youngman if going old school.

Quite a list that could be the best at the right place or time.

thought I'd revive with some current favorites (no one is dethroning RW).

Zoltan

Gary Owen

Liz Miele

Nate Jackson

Saaniya (I've only seen shorts)

Jimmy Carr

Natalie Cuomo (pretty sure she's a nutter, but still pretty funny) I've only seen short clips. She also lost it on a heckler

when she lost it
