I don't think you can choose to be Tom Brady material and work to achieve. You got it or you don't.

If so, how come Brady is performing better than ever? He was a sixth round draft pick at #199 in The 2000 NFL draft. He was the seventh QB drafted that year.

I think a big part of why he is performing better is experience.

His work ethic and maybe a bit of luck has kept him physically healthy enough to still take the field but what's going on now is also the guy has seen it all.

He's leveraging the mental part of the game as much if not more than the physical at this point and that only comes with the playing time one accrues by staying healthy.

He's playing masters level chess while everyone else is playing checkers.
