Tom Brady

I am watching the Tampa/Miami game and am amazed Tom Brady can still be this sharp at his age . He is picking Miami apart with laser precision . Love him or hate him his quality of play can't be denied .

Crowbob 10-10-2021 12:23 PM

And it’s not by happy accident of birth. The man is relentless in his pursuit of perfection and longevity.

KFC911 10-10-2021 12:30 PM

He's just an old GOAT!

....and I get to watch Brady win 2 out of the last 3 games of the season... beating Carolina :D

from today's game

Thurs night football...TB at Philly.
Brady making it look like childs play.

flatbutt 10-15-2021 05:36 AM

Philly got close as they has a couple of nice moments but Brady kept them guessing. If they played to cover the long pass he hit a receiver for a short pass and run.
And if it hadn't been for two huge pass interference penalties on TB Philly might not have been within 6 at the end.

This penalty was almost the worst one I've seen called.....

Yo mama's so fat, when she fell I didn't laugh, but the sidewalk cracked up.

According to the refs..yes. 15 yards worth.

Oops..sorry...I read it as "That was taunting?"

The opposing player needs to give him a hug instead.

Yep... along with some of the plays on the field that get called on the defense. It's freakin' football .... let 'em play and yap a bit .... within reason.

Brady .... well... he's Tom Brady :)

Yeah that was ridiculous. It is worthy of note that these two teams are very high in penalty minutes this season.

cabmandone 10-15-2021 07:38 AM

I respect Tom and his ability to play at a very high level at his age... but he played for Michigan and in New England beat my Steelers like a rented mule which means I must hate him.

stevej37 10-15-2021 07:55 AM

When he played at UM..he was never liked because he was competing with Drew Henson.
Henson was by far the fan favorite. I was at AA for one game when Henson QB'd. Never saw Brady play live.

TB's D has been pissing me off all season.

Yes they play aggressive football but too often to their own detriment.

That 1st PI call was a tough one. It did not look intentional, defender simply got tangled up but it is what it is and it was PI.

If you don't have an A list O line and a QB like Brady then that aggressive D will cost you games.

stevej37 11-22-2021 06:12 PM

Watching the Bucs and Giants game.
Brady throwing pinpoint passes...one after another.
Incredible.

There is one, and only one, way to achieve this level of performance. Start with the physical and mental capacity (much more than other athletes, probably), and then work your ass off for a great many years. Think about your goal, all day, every day, for a decade or more and spend ALL your time doing every thing you can think of to get any 'edge' on the competition you can.

People who don't put that same ability/effort formula to work.....don't get to stand on the top podium. It's that simple.

All of that plus the gifts you get from the big guy in the sky from day one.

I don't think you can choose to be Tom Brady material and work to achieve. You got it or you don't.
