I remember reading of very valuable copies years ago..so dug my copy out. Nope..just run of the mill. Played only a few times on a techniques linear tracking turntable in order to make tapes. Still play my tape from time to time.
If I had to hazard a guess, it's that IROC will discover the same thing I did....So, enjoy the listening! Do hope his daughter has a decent turntable tho...some of today's cheap offerings are hard on vinyl. Avoid Crosley units like the plague!

Something else to think about is the age (65-80) of the people who would be REALLY interested in this White album as it was from their era. They are starting to age out of collecting at this point in their life, so maybe look into selling it now, or hand it down, as it was to you.

unless it’s a very low serial# or mint uk mono, i would say your record is worth $150 - $250 if the sleeve is in as good condition as the vinyl seems to be….if it’s not near mint, these records are not worth much. i can find 5 of them in the beatles bin at my local shop on any given day
nobody will care that you say your record is unplayed because it can’t be proven since it has been opened. the condition of the vinyl is all i care about along with the condition of the sleeve and inserts - in addition to anything special about the particular pressing i do collect records btw

Looks like a Steve Carlton special avatar, there! Quite a few years ago.

My 'white album', along with most of my other vinyl have been played only twice. Once to enjoy, a second time to copy to tape.

There's the White Album...
Then there's Jay-Z's The Black Album... Then there's Danger Mouse's "The Grey Album", an illegal merge of the two, Jay-Z's vocals over the Beatle's music. It's very good, and rarer than either. That is all.
