I don't use Discount Tire anymore. Not a fan of the pressured sales tactics. And when they FUBARed wheels lugs twice in a row, I decided to switch to a local mom 'n pop tire place that Craigster recommended. So much better.

Two lugs f'd up for me in the last 6 months as well. Several torque numbers not correct on multiple winter/summer switchovers. They will pay for the f'up but you have to use their shop (which is half hour away and booked). Over 2 decades with them, and we have 6 daily drivers. I'm changing this spring to someone else (not sure who yet).

I use Americas Tire, I don't know why.
They screw it up every time, missing valve stem caps.
Air pressure? how about 100psi on the spare with the TPMS light on the dash flashing. All set have a nice day.

torque, air pressure? just have to redo when I get home

Look on Tire Rack website. They have a list of local installers in your zip area. May be a good starting point.

I tried that and called the installer. He wanted to look at my wheels before he would agree to mount them. WTF.

Took them to my usual place and get reamed with no lube. That’s another story, and I’m not going back there.

The other day got that attitude from a WINDOW TINT INSTALLER. Guy thought he was the 2nd coming of Christ of window tinting- in Phoenix of all places. I reminded him politely that tinters are a 'dime a dozen' at the sunniest place in the country.

Man, I hate that $hit. Prima Donna installers (of all maintenance disciplines) who insist on being so pedantic of a basic maintenance task. It's a ****ing tire, not brain surgery.

Despite the Web presence of both companies, Discount had a significantly larger share of market than Tire Rack did...

Always had great service from both operations on the wholesale side.

Cheers
