I enjoyed this movie. I suspect a lot of folks haven't seen it.

Not really, In the 70's and 80's it was commonplace, tobe in your 70's you were old. Heck to be in your sixties you were old. Today to live into the middle 80's is commonplace so it seems young.

I remember watching the today show back in the 80's while I was getting ready for school. Katis Couric, Bryant Gumball and Willard Scott doing the weather. He did special spots for people turning 100 Maybe one per week. By the time I graduated high school it had a daily spot and there were five or six per day.

In the 80's a heart attack was a death sentence. Today you are home and walking the same day.

Not my number... He was pretty darn close to average.

its not how long you live..but how you lived the time that you were allotted.

i think Marvin lived swinging for the fences..we should all be so lucky.

I was truly sorry to hear this news.

I like to think that now Meatloaf and Jim Steinman (who passed in April 2021) can work together again "up there".

had lunch with him, 1992. one on one.
basic type conversation - he seemed a bit slow and ponderous, in a nice way.

Was always a big Meatloaf fan. In his prime, he was a Tasmanian Devil on stage. Gave 110% at every show. Almost killed him at one time since he was hardly the picture of health.

The Bat out of Hell 2 tour was one of the best shows I've ever attended.

I have to wonder, however, if he would have ever had a career if he had not met and teamed up with Jim Steinman. The duo made some amazing music, but when he recorded non-Steinman songs it just wasn't the same IMO.

What would Meatloaf have been without Steinman? Probably about the same as Garfunkel would have been without Paul Simon.

RIP Big Man....... Eddie has finally returned to the big deep freezer waiting for us all.

Meatloaf sandwiches?

Sounds like he can pick up one last award, the Herman Cain Award. He really should have been more careful in light of his apparent health issues.

Lots of buzz that the Meatman was an outspoken antivaxxer...

OK... Do we have anything official on the subject?

His daughter posted on Instagram that the entire family had Covid but that doesn't mean Meatloaf died from Covid.
