It is still a fracture. The glue holds pieces in place- but is not as strong as a completely healed bone. It will take a couple of weeks for the pain to be completely gone and forgotten.
Sounds like you had a great result- it is often like magic.
Take it easy, do your rehab. Try to remember how much better it is than it was before, not how it still hurts.
Don't forget to treat the underlying issues- osteoporosis or whatever.
Enjoy life

^^^ Yes..I'm being very careful about it. Doing easy indoor walking and stairs in short amounts.
My bone density test is Monday...that will be very helpful in case I am susceptible to another fracture.

This is a fantastic thread, lots of good news. Thanks for the updates and glad that it went really well.

Day 4.....Wound dressing fell off. Looks like two mosquito bites...about 5 inches apart.
Hardly any dried blood on the gauze. Not replacing it.

Bone density test taken today. Saw the pics before I left. Commented to the nurse that my backbone didn't look completely straight.
She answered..."Not uncommon for your age" Lol...thanks.

I'm happy that she didn't call me 'Sir'

Bone density tests and osteoporosis-- have some experience on the medical/commercial side. I remember the very beginning of Hologic...

I hope that your recovery is rapid and that the procedure results exceed expectations.

Did she speak loudly, slowly with exaggerated enunciation?

^^^ No...but she was good at holding a blanket between her and me.
My jeans would interfere with the rays, so I needed to drop them to my knees.

I told her the blanket wasn't really necessary....at my age, I am never shy...lol

Thanks...I'm anxious to see the results. They should be posted tomorrow.
Meantime...every day my back feels better. Standing more than 15 minutes is easy now. (again)

The blanket wasn't to protect you, it was to protect her.
