skiing versus snowboarding in 1985

I snowboard, tried a week of both skiing and snowboarding back in my early 20's, then took it up again in my 40's when I lived in Italy

I'm in my 50's and still enjoy it, not too slow either as my time in Italy was going out friends that skied so I had to hustle a bit to stay with the pack

When I'm in my 70's I want to be that cool old snowboard dude still shredding the slopes

Older than that then I'll probably slow down a bit and take up cross country skiing

Never smoked weed but a friend and I shared a 4 seater chair lift with a couple of 'young' boarders

Lift stopped halfway up and it had one of those with a fold over clear plastic bubble cover

2 dudes asked if we minded if they lit up a spliff while we waited for the lift to start up again

We said 'go ahead', they must have inhaled a lot as when we got the the top they just fell off the chair lift giggling on the ground

They still beat me down to the bottom of the run
