How many Americans have enough land to grow food to feed themselves? There's just so much you can grow in a container garden.

how does growing tomatoes run you 20 bucks a pound?
I grow mine pretty much for free.
The only cost (yeeeeeaaars ago) was some spiral rods to stuff in the ground for thee plants to grow around.. and my time and effort to prune the plants.

don't even need to buy seeds , you get those from tomatoes you cook

As far as the 3-6 month freezer life.....with a chest freezer, things will keep fine for a year or two easily. Just don't leave the door open for five minutes while trying to decide what to eat.
