Top tip if you want to DIY the hair cut: I put him on a coffee table very close to me (saves bending over) and then I sit in a chair.

I have a pile of treats within arms reach. Every now and again I pinch off part of a treat and give it to him. That usually keeps him occupied. Then he knows afterwards he gets a treat and goes straight to the kitchen where they are kept and sits to wait for me.

I pay 250. a year for medical insurance for my dog. Haven't had to use it yet and hope I never do but it seems cheap enough considering

Good advice, gonna try it next time. Probably on a table outside on the patio.

Yes they are, I spent $1000s on Teener after she was diagnosed with cancer, and I have no regrets. She maintained good quality of life, maintained a good attitude and was happy. I picked her up fresh meat from the deli, fresh seafood from the mark and French fries from Steak and shake.
Now, Cayman is the only one left and he is on medication and eats special food and what ever can food he will eat. On top of that I spent close to $100 a month on food for my feral colony.
