I'd not heard of that movie. I hit youtube to see what it was about. I don't think I'd want to watch it regardless of a hot scene with JA.

It ain’t The Godfather but I’ve seen a lot worse. It’s a good trashy noir film and Alba gets manhandled more than once if memory serves.

I watched two clips. In one Kate Hudson (I think) gets the ever livin' sheiße kicked out of her, punched and kicked until she's unconscious and bloody (dead?). The scene that I saw with JA was about the same, except almost totally focused on punches to the face until she was swollen and bloody and passed out (took a while).

Maybe those were the worst two scenes in the movie. Still, I don't want to see them again.

I forgot about the violence until you just mentioned it and you’re right, it was disgusting. I saw it years ago and only remembered the beginning and the sex scenes.
