He can drive a Pinto for all I care, not having to go into the dealer is priceless.

Rented a model 3 and it took me 30 minutes in the rain to figure out wipers ;-) I'd press the button (itself not that obvious) and would get 3 wipes only.. I eventually got that you had to press that AND then go to the giant ipad and pick a speed from a setting that only appears after you press that button, so 2 steps - dumb. Also, later, that I could have used voice activation, possibly...

Some of that stuff is not an issue if you own a car, but some is needlessly complex in a rental situation... Interface for cheapness sake, a wiper stalk is fine. A round steering wheel is fine. A volume knob is fine. Also Hertz gave it to me with 55% battery only, not cool..

it's not a bad car, but I'd like more buttons that don't require me to take my eyes off the road. I'd also add the aftermarket gauge cluster. I just like looking ahead and get my speed info.

The wipers can be set to Auto to come on when it starts raining.

I bought and installed an aftermarket cluster for my wife's 3. She likes it alot except it blocks the AC vents directly in front of the driver.
