The daughter is turning out to be a highlight of the show.

Great new show... Dark winds on AMC is also a good new show. Right on time as I had just reached the end of interesting streaming (Umbrella academy returned also, and "the boys' S3 is more gross than ever - not sure how they get away with it but great). For all mankind S3 is back too... What a great show that is !

So far pretty good. Have to suspend reality for the fights where an old man who gets winded walking up stairs is kicking butt vs young agents.
Dinner scene dialogue was a bit tedious. Lithgow is pretty fun to watch. Agree daughter is a neat character. Not entirely clear on the wealthy boss guy Lithgow visited. The guy from the bus stop and resulting fight scene....just silly. Hell i could've gotten the job done.

I thought the dinner scene dialog illustrated the quality of the writing big time. The character development in this series is superb IMO.

Season 2 starts September 12th on FX and the next day on Hulu or something like that. The first two episodes to start, then one per week (I hate that). It's interesting that Joel Grey is in the cast. I really liked season 1.

Really good show. Which is the old man? Joel Grey or Jeff Bridges? My wife says it's Joel Grey for some reason

I think it could be Joel Grey. Doesn't really matter.

Based on the dvr schedule, appears the first 2 episodes of season 2 will play b2b.

I found the show to be interminably boring after the first couple of episodes of Season 1. Thought the first episode was awesome. Wanted to like it but it was sooo slow paced. Felt like they had enough story for 2 or 3 episodes but had to stretch it out longer. Don't think I'll waste my time with Season 2. Especially with football season coming up. Just my unsolicited relatively useless opinion.
![]() Now if the creators of 1923 and Severance would get off their asses and hurry up and get season 2 of those shows on air I would appreciate it.

Even better...I saw that they are also working on a sequel to "Nobody." I really liked that movie. Plenty of action (and old men committing violence).
