Animals do mourn, after Teener died, Cayman wasn't the same for a few months, like us, they need time, love and affection.

My deepest condolences, Patrick. I know we don't always get along, but the one thing we definitely see eye to eye on is the place we have allowed our canine friends to fill in our hearts. They are special, every one of them, and bless us in ways that only we, as dog lovers, can fully appreciate. You guys are in my prayers.
So, I'm with Will Rogers on this one - "if dogs don't go to heaven, I want to go wherever they go". I'm looking forward to reuniting with my canine buddies, often more so than most people i've known. When you guys meet up again, that will be what we call "heaven".
