Not only do I get those on Instagram, and Facebook, but I also get texts messages. Always starts off the same, wrong name, enjoyed meeting at xyz, or do I still have my appointment. Then, I'm sorry to disturb you, I must have hit the wrong keys on the phone, but very nice to meet you. Every few months I get one of these friend requests on FB. Singapore, HK, London. These Asian women are always ridiculously gorgeous and stylish. If it's too good to be true....

If you start communicating, just wait, they'll ask for $$$ to "escape" their abusive situation and come live with you happily ever after.... or for the dire straits of their relatives... or etc.

It might be entertaining to do a Google image search on some of those hot women. You'll probably find out that at least some of them are public-use image photos, or photos that have been used under many names.

Total catfishing scams. They gain the marks confidence and get them to send money, invest in bitcoin, invest in Chinese RE... whatever. The money gets sent and they vanish into the net. It's some fat Chinese gangster sending you sweet pics.

Funny, I don't get the asian chickbait, but hot lonely, european fortysomethings show up on my IG regularly. Surely some fat Bulgarian gangster working the angle.

The symbol is for a Maybach. Built by Mercedes, the star is on the steering wheel though I don't see why they didn't use the double M on a $200K car.

Anyone who falls for this stuff deserves what they get. A fool and his money were lucky to get together in the first place. I've been married to a Chicom for 15 yrs. And she has no interest in becoming a US citizen. That's the kind you want. But you really need a good sense of humor, because you'd go insane trying to figure them out. So you have to rely on the ability to just laugh.
