I guess the lesson here is you need to practice with whatever weapon you choose and old tech can sometimes be the best tech.

Don't know if they do rifles, etc but i've read all good things about stocks from this guy in Portugal. With shotguns the goal is custom fit as much as it is nice wood so not sure if the value is there for rifles. Either way his prices are 1/2 or less than US stock makers whose prices are generally in the $5k+ range for fitting to you and half decent wood.

I believe we all make mistakes but I will not validate your poor choices and/or perversions and subsidize the results your actions.

Let us try a Ha.w.ken 54 C, and a P..A..Shi..mmel Lo..ng..ri..fle in 32 C .

the H is unsignd probably by Art Res..seler of the Ha..wk..en Shop...very close to being authentic recreation...

The other is signed A..M....for A..lle.n Ma..r.tin..

Both for the price of a H shop kit.. the A..M...is the absolute treasure to find.. he is backordered 42 spoons..

Both just came from the same back east estate auction

That looks like the effects to getting older.

Edit-this is a 'spoon' thread so I'm looking for guns that rack the slide and not to slide on racks.

An Art Ressel Hawken is considered "authentic". He bought the original tooling, equipment, and remaining stock in the 1950's. As authentic as any Winchester or Colt built in the 1950's.
