WRXs and STis are awesome street cars and rally cars but do not belong on a race track, as several with track experience here have noted. Porsches are not the only cars that can handle track duty but they are probably the best and if it's a Metzger car, (GT3), that statement gets amplified to 11. There is simply nothing stronger. "Strong like bull." :)

This whole thing reminds me of the "Take your Porsche and Chev it" ads that used to be in car magazines.
Also reminds me of the almost universal (at least in the US) practice of putting a Chevy v8 in Jaguars that developed engine issues. As my old BMW wrench used to say, "stock rocks". |
