Truly the greatest generation.
As bad as it was Pearl Harbor it was just the start. Can you imagine what it took to fight island to island across the Pacific? Men, women, logistics, equipment, weapons and transport. Nothing about it would have been easy. It must have been a mammoth task! Europe. Another mammoth task!  So many lost souls. RIP.
