About the same here near my office in Raleigh for BP and Circle K but can be 20 to 30 cents per gallon higher at other locations further down the road from me.

Exxon increased to $3.40 for RUL

Meanwhile diesel has stayed flat at 4.29 for a while.

Flat Six 10-20-2023 01:14 PM

87: $4.77
89: $5.01
91: $5.29

Down about $0.90/gal in 3 weeks . . . .

Diesel: $5.07

Add $0.05/gal for credit card

stevej37 10-26-2023 11:21 AM

$2.94/reg $3.94/prem
Hopefully it stays around that price.

Marble size hail here today...15 degrees colder for the next few days. :(

KFC911 11-06-2023 12:45 PM

Paid 2.95 for regular earlier today near my house... I reckon those obscene record profits from last year ain't gonna happen twice in a row .... at least not from around here.

JackDidley 11-06-2023 02:10 PM

VINMAN 11-06-2023 02:23 PM

Gas/convenience station about ten miles away in another village: Regular - $5.30, high octane - $5.70, diesel - $7.00, Of course you can shave a tenth of a cent off those.

GothingNC 11-06-2023 04:41 PM

Dropped down to $2.73 in Raleigh :-)

rfuerst911sc 11-07-2023 02:33 AM

Local Gulf station in our small town $2.709 for 87 and paying cash . Credit was 4 cents more .

Yep, diesel is still 5.50-580. I am not seeing anything under 5 for regular around here. Its still 5.30-5.50

My question is, our gas use to be only 1.00-1.35 difference compared to other states. Now, it over 2 bucks. What tax and how much and were is this money going?

stevej37 11-16-2023 01:56 PM

$2.99/reg and $3.99/prem today.:)

Not only 2 bucks more but a dollar more for premium?

OK, Steve lives where they get that white stuff during the winter so they probably still sell 93 octane. Not here.

Jeff, we pay state and fed excise tax, sales tax, and another 40 or so cents in 'fees' like low carbon gas program fee and 2 more. It all adds up to roughly $1.20/gal over the cost of the gas alone. That's 6 added fees or taxes per gal.

CA is No. 1 for the highest added fees.

Yes, our premium is 93 octane.

The spread between reg and prem was always 60 cents...for as long as I can remember.
A couple years ago, the gas stations started raising it, and now they are almost all at a dollar spread.
