Of course it's going to jump soon. I'm heading up that way sometime next week and I might drive my truck rather than my Rav.

I'd just like to point out that I filled up West of G Rapids on 96 for $2.99 last Sunday :D

Its been whipsawing like crazy here. In the past 3 weeks it's gone from $3.19 to $2.59 to $2.96.

$2.44 near me. Could save another dime if I wanted, at places like Sam's.

I paid $2.94 at my local independent station just outside of St. Paul MN.

I think I saw a bit cheaper at a nearby chain, but I support the independent because they also sell ethanol free that I use in the Porsche and I don’t want them going away!

Recent prices are the cheapest I've seen near me in years.

I had to take a trip yesterday...20 miles or 40 round trip. I was thinking was it worth the gas for 40 miles?
Then I realized my Civic gets 40 mpg....so it cost about $3.50 (I use prem.)

Can't even buy a dozen eggs for a 40 mile trip.:D

.

javadog 03-16-2025 02:38 PM

Around here you can. I paid less than seven dollars for two dozen eggs a couple days ago and that’s including tax.

Latest results from this quarters Dallas Fed Survey. Very little change year to year, if anything, less expensive this year.

Drilling efficiency seems to have made up for any inflationary impact.

$2.67 and $3.35 today at Sams.

stevej37 03-26-2025 01:29 PM

$2.94/reg and $3.94/prem here. :(

It's being manipulated (again, with no tangible relation to actual replacement costs as it has been historically) again.

The deltas between local stations (location, location, location) ... getting refueled outta the same tanker has gone nutz .... again.

Because they can.

Seems as if 2.99 is our local "yesterday's price" .... with oil around $70.

Twas .40 cheaper just recently ... when oil was off a buck or two ....

"Some Sheetz stations" around here .... totally arbitrary now compared to what was since they appeared here years ago.... MY goto places.

No mas!

Some are now price gouging .... just becau$e ... in total collusion imo... it's ea$y pea$y and it's Bush's fault ... or Biden's.

Take yer pick :(

I am picky about the local stations I use now .... I won't use these "gougers" even when they drop back down to their "normal" delta prices ... EVER again.

Where IS Lucy? I must need some 'splainin done about these deviations from "the norm" ...???

Not really....

WTI crude down $10 to $62 since Wednesday. Short term we should see some significantly lower gas prices.

If that price holds we could see slowly declining US production.

Yep. 30 cent differences within 15 miles of each other. It's crazy.
