Prices are all over the place here.
Most are around $2.35/reg......I also saw a few at $2.99/reg
I wonder if we are headed for a price spike soon.

For the longest time, between 87 and 91 has always been about 10-12 cents. Now the difference is more like 30-40 cents. Why is that and WTF happened?

Its still around 4 bucks here, well, 3.99. When I go fill up the turbo, its 4.50-4.60. Fooking Newsome. yes, I blame him

It's a $1.20 diff here between reg and prem.
A few years back, it was always 60 cents, then after Covid it went to $1.00. Now it's $1.20

It's a $1, $1+ difference here typically.

I only use 93; what cars use 87? or 89?

I don't...my Civic and Prelude both have stickers to use prem only. The 911...I always use prem because it has a SW chip.

I just quote reg because that's what most stations post on their signs and people remember.

I live in a town with about 4000 people and 3 gas stations, all around $2.69/gallon. A 4th station opened up and and started selling 87 for $2.27. Started a mini gas war aand now they are all at $2.25/gallon. unfortunately its + $1.20 for 93 so I am still going to Sams for that.

Gas prices are insane around here. I used to have to travel at least a few miles to see big price differences. Yesterday I saw Murphy's @ $2.39 and across the street Kroger was $2.99.

The stations around here that were $2.35 yesterday are all $2.95/reg today.
That makes prem $4.19/gal.....a spread of $1.24/gal

^^^ I'm wondering if the Venezuela thing is a worry.
Normally, ours spikes for the winter fuel blend...but that usually happens in Dec.

The stations that were $2.39 two days ago are all over $2.79 again. WTF?
I missed my chance. The truck was half full, and I thought I should top it off at $2.39, but delayed one day and missed the price dip.
