Baz, I JUST last month read the book Spencers Mountain by Earl Hamner, Jr. for the first time. At least as good as the movie, (and the basis of the TV "Waltons")

You see, this guy doing some great "acting" as "Grady Seasons" was actually playing himself, Keith McCready, one of the top 9 ball players of the time. The director was taken to a 9 ball tourney to get a dose of realism...he saw & heard MCCready playing, offered the part.
