I've never seen the allure of a cruise ship.

To me it would be like being trapped in a Vegas Casino for a week where they let you out occasionally. nope

I usually cruise on sailing ships.

I made it through almost a solid minute of listening to the spokesman in that video.

Worse. The food is better in Vegas.
These things are obscene. Cheap azz amusement parks that go nowhere, and when they do stop its at some crappy port that exists for the benefit of tourists that have been ship prisoners. Uggh.

The only reason I got on a cruise ship (along with everyone else) was for the music .... I didn't get off the boats in many ports. It was ALL about the music !

I almost went fishin' with Taj Mahal once somewhere in port down in the Carribbean ... he asked if anyone was interested .... ummmm yeah .

He never did get a small local boat to come over tho .... so that's MY fish story !

You beat me! I got to "world's best family vacation" and choked. The terms "Family vacation" and "cruise ship" do not go together.

Exactly. Like I said, only if they go someplace special.

It's also possible to appreciate the size of these cruise ships without declaring you wouldn't ever step foot on one.
