I think it's the combination of scored cylinder and bad blower that makes the cost of repair more than what the car is worth.
Now it's a Parts car.

I drive by a storage facility that has a large lot for boats/RV's/cars and there are two Opel GT's just rotting away . So rusted you can see the rust from the road ☹️ .
