It's California outside!

Wow, amazing weather. Yesterday it was 80º with a dew point in the low 70s which is generally not terribly comfortable (although better than when it's 95 with a dew point in the low 70s). Today it's 80º and the dew point is 32º (relative humidity around 20%). It's sunny with blue skies and a nice breeze. Spring has sprung and we haven't had a freeze since some time in Jan, so everything is very green (we mowed this past weekend and probably could have mowed a couple of weeks ago). This is pretty ideal as far as weather goes. It's a beautiful day!

Didn't it recently snow in CA?

I woke up yesterday to snow, on an island on the upper left coast.

Wow that is so cool, I've never seen the "northern lights" in person.
It is in the high 70s here in Bama country but very windy and the pollen has started up messing with my sinuses.

It’s been snowing here off and on for three days. Shoveled off my deck four times and plowed the driveway three times. It’s a losing battle.

California weather? It's currently 42 degrees and raining in Half Moon Bay. It snowed here last week. We had a little dusting right at the harbor, elevation 12 feet.

Ahhh, but soon you'll be cat sailing. When it happens, fly a hull for me, will ya? Sailing another of those things I miss...

We are still getting snow. Lots of snow. Probably April before we get clear.

Been years since we’ve had a good aurora. Green into red. Took the dogs out and just look watched for an hour.

Sounds like the perfect place for an astronomy buff! If the theory is that the weather goes to crap when you buy new astronomy gear, then the NW coastal area must have a ton of astronomy buffs that spend a lot of money on gear just to stare at it in their living rooms.
