Binder must be kicking himself. The Ducati's are once again in fine form, Fabio's great weekend ends in the gravel and, amazingly, MM finds a way to avoid hitting the tarmac during the race!

The exceeding track limits rule needs to be amended. If cutting a corner results in advantage then yes punish the rider. But these two/three inch wide transients don't need such severe punishment IMO. Binder had half a tire width off of the curb.

I've been in spain the last couple of weeks on a Motorcycle ride. Got back to Barcelona on Friday and realized MotoGP was in town! Buddy and I took train, taxis and bus out to the track to watch. It was pretty freakin cool

Bagnaia escaped with no serious injuries,
just major bruising, soreness, etc. Bastianini broke bones in his hand and ankle which will require surgery. |

It looks like whatever make of boot that Bagnaia is wearing helped save his lower leg from Binder's KTM - nasty seeing him spun around on the ground with bikes all around him like that.

Lots of rumors swirling around about MM. KTM, Ducati, even Aprilia. If I read it right this weekend, Gresini is the latest, but I don't think he wants to be on a satellite team, even if it would be with his brother. I think the KTM/Redbull tie in has more merit (just an opinion based on my gut) and with Pedrosa riding the new carbon fibre bike to great results so far this weekend, I'm wondering if there are gears in motion - especially after MM towed Dani to get into Q1 for the first time in a long time.
But of course, he keeps reminding everyone that he has a contract with Honda for 2024.

Wow, a Japanese bike on the box. Who'da thunk it? I guess a new track (and soul-sucking heat) are a pretty good equalizer.
The championship is tightening up, too. Fun times. Fun times indeed.
