I'm happy since Baz can only ride ONE interceptor at a time- he's gonna throw a motorcycle party where we can all come over and take em' all for a spin! Thanks Baz!!!!

Had a good day yesterday getting back to work on my motorcycles. It's carrying over today so far with getting some stuff done here at the house. Then off for a couple errands and more work on my bikes as well as the 914.

It’s not a 914,,,,

That’s what he calls his 914th Interceptor.

Bought it about 19 years ago - check my signature line. 1972 with updated (2.0) engine and factory Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection. Runs like a scalded cat!

The very first car I ever bought and had it when I was a senior in high-school is back in my life again, my old TR6, the very car!!! Yep, pretty dang happy at the moment.

^cool car and you're so lucky to find it again, uncrashed even!
I, however, have no desire to ever see my first car again. A 1964, 4 door, clapped out Impala ha ha

Just got back from a surprisingly good day helping an older neighbor do some errands and shopping. Her husband is in the same care facility as my MIL. My wife used to babysit her sons. We never really had the opportunity to talk in the 50 years since I first met her. I'm glad I was able to help.

^me too. This is a hot tub step Xmas present for my buddy. Ready for paint. All lumber I milled from a tree I felled a few years ago. Kreg jig makes for no fastener holes to fill. One coat sealer, 2 coats color, a coat of eurathane and a final of eurathane mixed with aluminum oxide on the tread top for no slip.
Here's a pic of some stairs I just finished for a customer. Same finish process

Endorphins make me happy. Unexpected break in the weather, a quick bike ride. 22 miles, 1700 feet of climbing, new tires performed well.

Wife brought home an expensive (but broken) espresso machine from work 2 weeks ago that they were just discarding. One $4 part later and it's working perfectly. Am enjoying learning about how to make the perfect shot. (Yes, I've seen some of the threads - don't help me! I'm doing science on my own...)

I wish you the best for your recovery.

My 68 year old BIL (who lives in Denver) had both of his hips replaced about 6 years ago. His only regret, he didn't do it sooner.

My college senior has secured a job! He's over the moon about it and has a nice relaxed final semester to look forward to.

I don’t have to go to work today… I’ve taken 2-1/2 weeks off to ski, get caught up on farm stuff, spend time with my family, and relax. And my daughter has her first ski race of the season this weekend at ‘the lake’.
