My check engine light is on though. I should’ve bought a friggin code reader, although I’ve got six at home.

I’m going to head towards Charleston and see what happens.
Glad you're back on the road. The code is likely left over from the bad fuel pump driver.

And I’m home! 🙌🏽 The code was a PO627.

P0627 fuel pump a circuit open

I’ve not replaced any parts yet, but will install the fuel pump driver module and go from there.

Next would be the fuel pump itself. A quick look online, says to remove the pick up bed to replace the pump.😂

Congrats on making it home.

Good luck with solving the fuel system issue.

Now it's time to cancel your AAA membership and demand a refund plus at least several hundred dollars in damages due to their incompetence.

After the Rolex 24 this year I spent 5 hours on the side on I-95 waiting on AAA to tow me. I was in no man's land. All the roadside towing services rely on the same mom and pop toothless tow truck drivers to respond when you're in no-man's land. If the tow won't make them money they just don't take it. You end up getting that guy with the oldest truck that is willing to take any job to make a buck. Sucks but it's the way it works.

Glad you made it back.

At about the six hour mark, I was talking to one of the reps and she said that AAA has trip interruption or something like that where they pay you up to $1000 in reimbursement for food, lodging, rental car, etc.

I replaced the fuel pump and fuel pump driver module Sunday. Took about four hours by myself. So far, so good and no codes.
