Funny, I just revisited this thread, and it has now turned into a meme group.

I always thought the CT was ridiculous but the "fans" (to keep this out of PARF) thought it was amazing and the CEO of the company was forward thinking. Oh my how times have changed. I still think the CT is the answer to a question that was never asked. The polygons used are from the 80's.

Honestly, you kinda answered your own question since it was never asked, and other than the crazy antics of the CT and not just the CEO but those who actually bought them.
I think people thought they might get better or at least grow on them, which it has, like a genital wart.
Since pretty much everything about the CT is pretty much like 70s episode of SNL, so it’s meme time between the pictures of real CTs, and the crazy issues they have, to keep it out of Parf.
