With all the sharp corners and impact zones, and the fact it can chop off fingers, how will this be allowed in North America?

It makes the Pontiac Aztek look pretty good.

I saw one in person for the first time yesterday (Naples, FL)….it’s a lot bigger in person than I thought it would be. Still ugly, at least to me….not a fan.

I would like to know the nickel content of the stainless they are using. My guess is it's low or nil, as a money saving factor. SS without nickel will rust (like a cheap bbq burner).

I'm also not entirely sure it really is rust. With no clear coat you've got micro-pits that can pick up 'crap'.

My first thought too when I saw this one at a local market recently.

I've seen photos of them wrapped in black and it looks stealthy.

That front corner where the fender meets the front panel scares me. It sits about 1/8 proud in the forward direction.

Nothing makes the Aztek look good. But the truck IS awful, IMO.

Makes me think Musk played with transformer toys.

Like the CAD machine was limited in how many vectors it could process.

Living in SE Michigan I usually see new vehicles a month or two before most people in the forum. This vehicle the Cybertruck has been different.

Saw it for the first time in person just yesterday, not bare stainless steel, must have had a protective film on it as it looked light sand color to me.

My impressions were:

1. While seated in my low car (2012 Infiniti G37X Coupe), the Cybertruck tail lights in the upper corners were about two feet over my eye level (not good). I suppose an old 911's tail lights are about two feet lower than most SUV driver's eye level, but different times. I think they could have been located better.

2. Driving behind it, it looked broadly flat, and I doubt the driver could see me.

3. The side view is dynamic, but was like looking up at a moving barn.

4. The front was pretty cool, gently curved in just the right places.

Best pictures I could take with an oversized cell phone, really miss my old Pentax that fit in an Altoids case.

…on ice, with a tail wind, in summer, w/o AC.

The only way I could describe that truck is klaatu barada nikto.

Wasn’t that a Dave Sparks video?
I saw a video of a Cyber truck that shorted out after going through a small river.

I still can't believe how bad that rear looks. No thoughts were given to the proportions at all, it feels.

And I'm pretty sure that's the stainless finish, just very dirty.
