My favourite poison is a pinot noir called Fickle Mistress. I can drink plenty of it and still OK the next day. But more importantly it's an excellent pinot.
I got given a bottle of Baileys and I kept thinking, just one more, just one more. Ummm. I'm not doing THAT again. |

10 out of 10 if you like robust, full-bodied but creamy stouts. Makes Guinness seem like Bud Light.

Since you mentioned Yuengling, Yuengling Black & Tan is good stuff, IMHO. There are also lots of truly outstanding bourbon barrel-aged beers out there, and I also enjoy a good Hefe-weisen occasionally, but for a basic satisfying beer the Yuengling Black & Tan is quite good.
In front of me right now is a glass of Maker's Mark. As usual. Last edited by dw1; 12-24-2023 at 06:21 PM.. |

I had a Murphys with dinner - the oldest made tacos.
I just sat down with a glass of Johnny Walker Red. Not my usual, but the middle son got a couple sealed, antique bottles of JW that a coworker found cleaning out his late grandfather's house. They got passed on to me.

Tonight, a good red.
Tomorrow, dig into the collection and have good reds with the appies and whites for the turkey. The wifey may have a G&T, she drinks but a few times a year. Cheers

I would love a glass of wine. Haven’t had a drink of alcohol in six weeks. I’ve e been taking such a stew of drugs I’m afraid of adding anything else to the mix.

Erdingle Dunkle. My favorite beer of all. It is available in Oklahoma again for the last few years and I know one store close by that keeps it in stock.

Even my dog was getting into the Christmas cheer. GF and I were having evening al fresco drinks l and I turned around to find my Border Terrier with his tongue lapping up my Bailey's.
