The commercials are unbearable! It's the same ones over and over and over.

Watching some of the coverage on NBC & USA (yeah, I know) and it's amazing how little racing is actually shown
Between the HIV prep commercials, shots of the teams dinner buffet, and the non-stop "interviews" with the Nascar drivers and crew chiefs there is little time to show actual racing. And why do the commentators insist on talking down to the viewers ? Did you know the drivers must finish the race in the same car ? That Daytona is twice as long as Sebring ? That they'll drive the equivalent of Daytona-to-Fresno in 24 hours ? Hint: It's about the RACING, not the number of idiots giving their useless analysis Great racing, terrible coverage IMO |

I enjoyed yesterday's interview with Scott Pruett . I knew he had a great career but never realized how successful he was at Daytona . Between class and overall wins he won 17 Rolex watches !!!!! That is impressive . Good guy too .

+1 on Scott Pruett. I like to know a price on that watch he had made.
Peacock network used to show the race almost commercial free and in the middle of the night the commentators took a long break. It was just racing and the scoreboard.

I commend Peacock for showing all 24 hours . Yeah there are some cheesy moments but they have to fill 24+ hours .

Porsche off on cold tires
This cold tire thing is so much BS. Tire warmers banned by IMSA "to save Mother Earth". How many cars have we seen go off, get wrecked and drivers injured in IMSA and WEC last year because of this virtue-signaling BS? Pure capitulation to the global group thinkers.

Wow-- Go Massa !!!!
PS. I think the coverage is pretty good, it has to be a British accent calling the race and mind you they maybe aren't David Hobbs, but still pretty good. IMO |

Gap is pretty consistent. Either Caddy is sandbagging or its time to hope.

Roger Penske teams have won the Indy 500 19 times . With today's win Porsche has won at Daytona 19 times . Gotta be a lottery ticket in there somewhere 😁
