Bring your proof and any emails you are just bringing them back after a repair. At worst you may need to pay GST on the value of the repair.
Should be no problem. Remember, these are used parts for an antique car which is duty free. Keep it low key that you are bringing back some parts for an antique car that you repaired.

I'm driving back to Ontario next week after spending a month in Arizona, and I'm not looking forward to dealing with Customs.

For the smoothest drive through as cloggie mentioned a broker will provide that, should be under $80. I supplied this number in my other post, pretty sure what you are doing will fall under Tariff # 9992.00.00 You will likely need to provide that number, not the customs agents job to find you the best deal. Your services should be duty free under that but likely pay both taxes 13% based on Canadian funds including shipping cost if you are charging for that.

I'm sure having the frames all wrapped up for protection will add to the process. I'd make them easily accessible.
Looking at the N. NY entry, we may have crossed into the U.S. there instead. I know our first stop was White Lake, NY. Then some fairgrounds on the CT/MA border that had some kind of road course. We then probably picked up the 87 and then the 95 into DC. But I digress. |
