I had no eye drops.... They used the newer technique where they inject stuff directly into the eye right before they insert the new lens. No eye drops required.

I had my second eye (right) done yesterday. It is my dominant eye so I worried more for this one. Procedure was quick and easy. This eye was weepier than the first was last week, but the "film" disappeared over night. I can see clearly now at distance with both eyes but I suspect I will need readers for computer work and anything else up close. I have my post op in a couple of hours and am curious what the refraction results are against the pre op target. Pretty close, I think.

I do have a headache from getting used to the distance lens and not being able to see very well up close. And looking out the new eye, straight lines are a little wavy.
I get no taste, but my ears roar when the drop hits my eye. And it feels gritty or sandy for a couple of minutes. Tomorrow is my one week followup.

My vision is getting better in my new eye. He said it might take 3 or 4 weeks to settle down to a final version.

I am 2 months in on multufocal replacements. Doc says I am 20/20 all the way around. Some starbursts at night in traffic, but colors are amazing, very happy all around.
