I got these silicone license plate frames from Amazon. Nice thin borders, and the silicon dampens the rattles. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CCVVYKXN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

Hadn't looked at my thread for a few days....
Wow... what a response to a seemingly silly posting.......I had no idea there was so much thought going into the plates.... just kinda figured it was an afterthought for most of us, but that clearly not the case..... entertainment value is strong in this one! Cairo94507: thanks for posting the vinyl plate option...... i don't think that's a viable option for my taste. Seahawk: ok that was pretty funny....... Rattlsnak: Ouch..... but I kinda do like my chrome....... not digging my heels in on the chrome.... just kinda like it. sooo many opinions... all good ones. ![]() |

Front License Plate Frame...... or NOT
Quote:
Just picked up a set of these for the now new commuter. Although I haven’t installed the front plate yet since the oxymoron at the dealer installed the plastic mount to the plastic grill with about 1,000,000 Nm of torque force, exploding the mount. Ya just can’t fix stupid I did use the second one behind my custom license plate frame in the back. It only has screws in the top at only two attachment points. It eliminated the expected metal clank the plate n frame made every time I closed the rear boot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
