Too bad it will be so expensive. That is one new American car that I might consider.

Even the more pedestrian Lambos, McLarens, Ferraris and Corvettes. All cars that you could never/rarely use to their full potential on public roadways. I'm curious as to what (in terms of hardware or development costs) would justify a car $200K+ more than the rest of the Mustang lineup. If a regular Mustang can cost $30-60K, why does this one cost several hundred thousand dollars?

Maybe the fastest around the 'ring...but best ever? In my opinion, no...too much for highway & street driving. Sure is a crowd pleaser, though.
(edit) Everybody has their own list for "best ever"...mine includes a car that can take you 500 miles over public roads swiftly & comfortably, then when arriving at your destination and parking, the driver being rested enough to enjoy a nice dinner. I don't know that this GTD could accomplish that.
