Awesome. The sun isn't down here yet. And I'm hoping to see the comet tonight too. I thought it was just before sunrise and have been looking in the mornings, thinking "WTF" but it turns out I was looking at the wrong time. Yesterday was the brightest day for the comet, but it's still going to be around for a bit.

From southwest California. Just the phone pic. Haven't gone through the good camera pics yet. Did find out I really do need to get that 12mm G master. Or maybe the Laowa 12 mm. Or the Sigma 12 mm.

The colours at 9:30 when I was on my way home with my truck were way more spectacular. Right now, lots of green but very active as they dance with Orion…

I wish the moon didn’t cast my shadow in that photo of my truck.

It’s still happening right now. Go have a look if it’s dark. Look North and East but it is everywhere.

It's totally dark behind my house .... but woods block my north and east views ... street lights on the other side .

I wish I was on my rural property...

If your close enough you can whistle at the lights and they will move and dance around, they either come closer to you or they get brighter when you whistle. Done it hundreds of times....

Wow, really spectacular!

We got a little bit of a show last night. Your show was like seeing the Stones in concert. Our show was more like seeing one teenager play a guitar that he just got for his birthday. But considering how far south we are, I'll take what I can get.
The color is brighter and more vivid than what you could see with your eye.

I was out shortly after sunset and thought "Is that a pink tint in the sky to the north?" It was, but I wasn't sure that I was seeing the aurora. I went inside and came back out after a bit. As soon as I looked north, the whole sky looked like a "barbie sunset". The sky to the north was very pink/magenta over a huge area. I turned around and told the missus that she needed to come outside. After we got outside and we noticed that the color came and went, she observed for a bit and then went inside. I stayed for quite a while longer, but it faded a lot. I saw 3 meteors that were all in the same place going the same direction over the course of 30-45 mins. I saw color come and go, and then it was mostly gone. Per one article that I saw last night, we can check tonight and this weekend for more.

I have a limited magnetic field around me too.
You should see my Aurora Borealis.
