That happened to me yesterday. As soon as he got my address, no more contact.

Another odd thing that happened once, a guy called my on my cell about something I was selling. My number was not listed in the ad.

In fact my ads typically say "first come first served, don't ask if it is still available, and your first message should include when you want to pick it up. I check their profile & ratings on FB before I respond. New profiles or no history don't get any of my info.
I figure a phone number is easy to change... my address not so much. I have a pretty good filter I've developed over the years. Every listing I have starts with "If you're looking at it, it's still available" and "please read the entire description before messaging". So when I get "Is it still available?" or if there's a question asked that is covered in the listing, I reply back "Please read the listing". If the first question is "where can I come to see ..." I have no problem giving out my number. I figure the worst they can do is increase my spam calls to more than just political.

Weirder yet, I had someone call my parents, no idea how he found their number, who then gave that person my phone number. I've had people do a name search, find my business website where my number is listed and then call. I had one guy ask where I'm located. I told them West of Delphos on 697. A few hours later, while I'm doing some wings on the grill, someone pulls into my driveway wanting to talk about a machine. I told him, ya got about 15 minutes till my wings are done so start asking questions. Never did sell the guy a machine and that's probably a good thing.
