How did MAX escape a penalty for completely blocking Stroll at the end of the straight on his last Q3 lap ? Fatherhood bonus ? ( I know it's stroll and it doesn't matter, but.. rules?)
Kudos to Kimi. If only Ferrari could join the fray now, it would be a fantastic season !

Yes Max should have been penalized, and he also stopped Yuki from starting a lap too.

That is pure crap, it wasn’t he was too slow he impeded someone on a hot lap. Let’s just call it a baby shower gift…

I will say most exciting sprint race in a while. Sad for Kimi though

At the first corner of the first lap, Kimi complained that Piastri pushed him off the track (edit: the replay showed there was no way Kimi was making that first corner anyway with his early apex, so moot point). But his radio transmission suggested he thought it was Oscar being unfair. Heck, if I was young Kimi, I would have held my line, made the corner, and hit Oscar.

Oscar has more to lose than Kimi. Oscar's fighting for a championship where every point may count. Kimi just wants to have a good rookie season. Maintain your line, hit Oscar today, and maybe it'll ruin your sprint race, but it'll show Oscar that Kimi's not to be pushed around. It's early in the year. Oscar will think twice any time he's up against Kimi for the rest of the season.

Not suggesting for Kimi to go out of his way to hit Oscar. But if he truly felt he was being pushed off, he should have maintained two wheels within track limits and sent Oscar a message.

The non call is a head scratcher . If that's not a penalty then everyone should line up the same way .

WTH is going on with Ferrari?!

It's really difficult to understand what Ferrari were thinking with today's strategy . They seem to be imploding under the pressure of the lack of performance . They need to get the ship turned around pretty quick or heads may roll .

Ferrari looked bad but wow wow hats off to Williams.
