I enjoy seeing fans and wags, as long as on track coverage is not compromised.

I actually feel bad for fans who get on camera, realize it and respond, but the response is only covered for a second. They don’t get an Andy Warhol dose of fame.

Brazil sprint race: My 12-yr-old asked this question: did Norris touch the curb and drag water on the track on purpose?

Curious sneaky strategy move. I think it's too risky. He could easily have taken himself out instead.

No watching F1 and MotoGP for me at the moment since Disney/ESPN and YouTubeTV have not resolved negotiations. Jerks. :D

Well, this is what you're not missing: Not a single shot of WAGs or celebrities thus far...

Funny quote of the day:
Gasly, about 5th in a train headed by Fernando: That Ferrari [LeClerc] really has to get around Alonso.
Engineer: I'll be sure to tell him.

That was quite the wreck by Bortoleto , looked like the car just snapped hard and into the barriers . It will be a miracle if they can get it fixed in time for qually . Colapintos car looked rough also . Not sure about Oscar's.

Thanks Noah!

Fwiw, I have my intervention marshal assignment for Las Vegas. Station 15.2 on drivers right. It could be interesting.

What a strange qualy , both Red Bull cars knocked out in Q1 . Both Racing Bulls made it to Q3 . Lando looking unbeatable at the moment. Antonelli wow what a lap . Bearman solid pace for Haas . Disappointed again by Williams.

rfuerst911sc 11-09-2025 10:45 AM

Good race . Quite the drive by Max . Congrats to Lando . Good points for Mercedes/Racing Bulls/Haas/Sauber and Alpine .

I feel for Leclerc. Kimi super lucky. If it wasn't for Charles, Kimi would have been turned around and be back racing the Astons.

Fun to watch Max carve his way through the pack.

matthewb0051 11-09-2025 12:33 PM

Good race. Some actual passing.

The finish was crazy mid field all in a row.

not a VER fan, but I will give him and his strategist their due, pit lane to 3rd. pretty impressive

Great race by Kimi, actually all the rookies looked really good.

Ferrari couldn’t buy any luck, it’s getting frustrating

With a puncture that forced a pit stop for Max as well as starting from the pit lane. And he finished just 10 seconds behind Lando!

Lando even admitted Max was faster today.

917_Langheck 11-09-2025 11:04 PM

Max did the Max thing but only because the team, as they usually do, got ahead of the car by Sunday. With that quali result it was a no brainer to pull the car out of parc ferme and rebuild the package around the data collected on Saturday - they were totally lost that day. That was a really good effort, and the new PU didn't hurt. Still don't like them though.

rfuerst911sc 11-10-2025 02:30 AM

One of the talking head announcers stated Red Bull went to a new front suspension setup on Max's car . Not sure if that means just adjustments or actual new parts . Plus the new engine . It will be interesting to see if they actually found something and does that translate to the final races . Whatever they did it certainly worked as Max made it look easy to carve thru the field .

WSH 11-10-2025 05:23 AM

I think Max actually relished that challenge
Sure, he'd prefer to start on pole and dominate the race, but I think he's the only driver in the field that would actually be excited about starting from pit lane with a goal of podium.
And he did it

Great race. If not for the puncture, I was expecting Ver to get second or even the win. Nice to watch a race at a track where you can actually pass!

I have YoutubeTV (maybe not for long) so glad I have F1TV too. I got an email from Youtube telling what hopes to jump through to get my credit. Very lame.
