Just a little while before the next fia election. He's pissed off enough people for him to not be reelected, but bribed enough to be. My bet is he will be reelected, but booted out for corruption of the fia before end of term.
My hope is he is not reelected, and neither wolf is either. |

I don't see How Suzie Wolf could be elected while Toto is running mercedes, conflict of interest for sure. Even after Todt left Ferrari there were folks worried he'd favor them as FIA president. MBS is just awful, playing dictator, grabbing attention, and the whole FIA election system is totally rigged so he can ply Sudan and Outer Mongolia with gifts and get their votes which count as much a that of countries that actually have more cars than donkeys... The FIA system is worse than the US redistricting and electoral college combined. I genuinely wish F1 would take its toys and rename itself, renegotiate track venues, and eventually when the FIA is broke buy back the name..

David Richards who owns Prodrive would make an excellent FIA President
He has F1, touring car, WRC, rally raid, Le Mans 24hr experience through his business Prodrive, also chairman of UK Motorsport and most importantly wasn't bullied into signing a spur of the moment NDA made up by MBS just before the last World Council meeting Never heard a bad word about him being crooked to deal with or prepared to cheat to win so would have the respect of all teams and many FIA members I'm sure he could step away from Prodrive to avoid any conflict of interest |

I'm sure it's been said many times before, but Zak is a dak
I'll probably be rooting for Sainz, Nico, Liam, and Bearman. For now |

I wish Carlos had said something like "and yet you got my car, you bastard" jokingly.. I'm glad he's looking decent with the williams. I am not anti hamilton at ferrari at all, but I hope Sainz finishes one spot ahead of him in australia, just for giggles !

Line of the day at team principal interview:
"Fred, do you think it's was hard for Lewis coming from a german team to adapt to Ferrari, italy, the tifosi, the food... (paraphrasing)" Fred Vasseur laughing: I don't think it's hard to adapt to italian food, especially coming from the UK LOL. (no more good curry though) |

Very good qualy session . Great run for Williams . Haas are in trouble it appears . Liam Lawson feeling the heat . Racing Bulls and Alpine look competitive . Looking forward to the race especially if mother nature interferes

Yes Yuki did a great job , I think he is really motivated this year . Honda is slowly pulling away from him . Red Bull didn't promote him .
If Yuki has a solid 6-7 races at the beginning of the season and if Liam has a meltdown does Yuki get moved up to the mother ship ? |

It was nice to see a qualifying where the top few places were very close, and not another Max dominated qualifying. He sure showed some talent when his teammate broke his car early on. Max crashed a lot when he was a rookie, so no real change for rookies.

What a race! Great job to those who kept it on the track!
Rain can really shake things up. I have no affiliation with F1TV, but if you're not getting the commentary from Jalyon Palmer, David Coulthard and Co. You are missing some great insights. Best Les

Rain is the great equalizer. When you have veteran racers like Sainz and Alonso losing it you know it is very slippery . Some rookies learned some painful lessons. Felt bad for Yuki . Strong showing by Antonelli/Albon/Stroll .
When do they place Liam on suicide watch 😁 . Haas are dog slow what the heck happened there ? Hulk did well for Sauber . On to China they go . |

Wow, Mother Nature the great equalizer.
Congrats to the winner! Congrats to Kimi, Alex and Lance. I watched Hamilton’s cockpit view the whole race, it’s going to take time for him and his RE to get it together lol

Very nice of Anthony Hamilton to console Hadjar. To put his arm around the driver, offer words of encouragement, and really walk with him for a minute or two. More than just classy, it was really a nice show of fatherly humanity. That kid was crying his entire walk back to the pits.

Lu had how many months to read the owners manual? And his rookie replacement at Merc didn't put a foot wrong all day, seemed to be familiar with his steering wheel, too.
