-25 deg C here this morning... I think over two weeks of cold weather in an otherwise mild winter.
Fine light snow overnight again. The temperature and the snow are making the main roads extremely greasy. Calcium chloride not very effective at this temperature.
We received our shipment here in TX. (cold, not snow) Thanks

Yesterday it was in the 60s and rainy all day. This morning, I tried to leave to go to work, but the padlock on the gate to leave was frozen so I couldn't unlock it, so here I sit working from home 2 hours early. It's 27º and windy here. Today it's supposed to be 35º and windy. Tomorrow morning is supposed to be 21º. I was ready for this crap to be over. A week ago it was in the 80s.

We had a glaze of ice, then sleet, and finally snow. It was 1 degree at dawn. It is supposed to warm up to 16 today. The sun is out, and that will help melt the crap on the roads that get sunshine.

I got out of the house just to get the mail yesterday. The trash pickup did not happen, and it will be Saturday before they pick it up. Our driveway has a 6 foot rise and I doubt I could walk up it empty handed. No way to get the trash wheelie up that hill, so they will stay out until the driveway melts off.

We finally got some sun today. Been snowing the last few days, but it’s been so cold out that it has not amounted to more than five or 6 inches. Going to get down to -19 tonight! On the bright side, I’m flying down to Las Cruces New Mexico on Friday to pick up a Jeep Wrangler, TJ. I can warm up down there.

I have had three snows in the last 7 days. A total of about an 1 1/2.

It is damn sure brutal cold. 4 degrees this morning with a minus 20 wind chill 2 degrees tomorrow morning

Don't like the weather in SW Oklahoma, stick around. It looks to be 73 this coming Monday with a low of 44.

29* this morning! We have electric heat pump and January was the biggest electric bill we’ve had in our 12 years here…$350! Usually about $150 per month.

19F here on the far north side of Charlotte earlier this am. Coldest January since 1988 according to the TV weather folks. Our gas bill for Jan. was $450., highest I can recall.

Our low this morning was also 19F ....which is normal for us.
It looked to be a nice morning, but the wind picked up and drifted snow across a lot of the roads making them dangerous. Cars wouldn't slow down for the iced over sections and would lose control and end up in the ditch. I saw 3 different cars that had slid off.

Saturday morning and everyone is in a big rush.

I spent most of my life living in western NY State, and the weather there is likely a lot like where you are in Michigan. North Carolina down in the Piedmont is not usually this cold for this long. Some of the golf courses actually closed up for a period and covered the greens, normally we play all year (admittedly it can be a bit miserable at times!), not this year.

No doubt about it...March came in like a lion here.
Blowing snow with gusts of 40mph plus...the ground is covered again.
At least it's good news for the end of March.

Miserable weather here in Lincoln, Nebraska. Blizzard conditions and wind gusts of around 50 miles an hour.
