Hence my rather lengthy whiskers. They do tend to tickle the tender bits.

Anybody remember English Leather? That was THE cologne to bathe in when I was in high school.

That was my go to but since my parents both worked for Shulton I had an endless supply of Old Spice as well.

I remember various things that were on barbershop counters in the mid 60s but I wouldn’t go near any of it.
I cannot remember what my father wore, but it was the same thing every day, and it was not memorable for any good reason. I would highly doubt that it’s even available today. there are better choices out there, people. |

We used to throw that on like it was nothing (late 70s early 80s).
It was cheap and it smelt OK. In other words good enough.

I used to splash on Old Spice after shave as a teen. My H.S. girlfriend used some stuff called Jean Natee (sp.?) I caught a whiff of it a couple of decades ago. It still made me feel horny. I actually just saw the comercial this thread ios about this evening.

Calvin Klein's Obsession for Men has always been my fav. They also make a stick deodorant I highly recommend - for those special occasions - not everyday, of course.
And Halston Z-14....good to have both on hand. ![]() Cue SNL......lol.....

I always found McKay's Parts Dip (circa 1965) blended with a little 20/50 Valvoline and then wash your hands, worked pretty well with a certain kind of gal. And a double bonus was your hands were clean, if not slightly red. And the faint odor would last all night.

I dislike most foo-foo juice. We had a customer with a 928 that must have bathed in it…smelled like he spilled a whole bottle in the car. Just driving the car into the shop would make your eyes water and then you’d smell like it the rest of the day. No thanks.
