Philly knew magones weaknesses and came out to play football. The results were obvious as soon as they shot down the passing game. I detest games that exploit the passing game to only large gains. 1 on 1 luck is not how games are won. |
I emailed my best friend this morning, who is from the Philly area:
"So, what are Eagles fans *****ing about on 97.5 The Fanatic as I type... " He emails back: "We didn't get to boo!" :) |
Just my humble opinion, but the Chiefs are way better than we saw last night. Mahomes does not get sacked…5x last night. He rarely gets intercepted. I think we saw a scripted game. The outcome was known in advance. No way they completely dissolved in the biggest game of the year.
No idea why but it looked like a planned win for Philly. |
The Jewish Space Lasers are zapping our footballs games!

Its been a long journey since the 7 game collapse at the end of last season for my Birds.
Scripted? Nah. KC's O line has been suspect all season. Eagles played cover 4 pretty much all game, set an NFL record for that in the playoffs. The telling stat? All that chaos in Mahones face resulted from ONE blitz - 4 down rushers the entire game. |
Oh BTW...$8MM for a 30 second ad...
and at least we weren't subjected to constant shots of Swift. |

The commercials sucked as much as a boring game. I guess the Eagles fans thought it was a great game. It was the only football game I watched all year. I am just not a fan of games played by overpaid athletes playing with a ball, just kids play with. I do love real sports like F1 racing and endurance racing. |
Nothing like a good, unexpected beat-down for the prima donnas. Get the universe back in balance.

Chiefs have been suspect all year, it finally caught up with them. Hopefully this will provide sufficient motivation to invest in their offensive line and receivers in the offseason. Philly dominated the line the entire game with a four man rush, and Mahomes didn’t have anyone open downfield all game. Strange game though, felt like the Chiefs didn’t adjust and to some extent just rolled over. I expected they would at least put up a fight.

I mean, "real sports"? Like when F1 teams are told to let a certain driver win a race, or a team driver is told to slow down and let other team cars catch up for a photo op which robs someone of an actual win. Yeah, professional motorsports aren't all that "real" either when you get down to it. I rarely ever watch NFL games, but I did watch the Superbowl. I was pulling for the Eagles because of Jalen Hurts. It was good to see some former Bama guys ball out. Hurts to Devonte was awesome. As far as commercials go, Carl's Jr. and Jeep are my favorites. That Jeep ad with Harrison Ford is going to become a classic I think.

To start with, I am a Chiefs fan and have been since 1969. But if you watched the Chiefs this season, their offensive line has consistently shown weakness. And against a dominating defense like the Eagles had yesterday, they completely collapsed. Andy Reid is going to have to figure out a way to adjust for next year.
As to the halftime show, even if I was a fan of rap, I couldn’t understand any of the lyrics. The sound was horrible. And then I find out later that the whole performance by Lamar was a continuation of his feud with Drake. I guess I need to keep up more with the rap world. And then, to add insult to injury, what I thought was a cute clip showing Serena Williams dancing was also a jab at Drake. At least now I know what a “Crip walk“ is. |

There’s quite a bit of rap that I’ll listen to, but that was garbage.
