What if you are the subject of paparazzi? The bike always gets thumbs ups, 3 tonight in downtown Boston riding to the movie theater. But a couple of guys actually crossed in front of me at a stoplight, thumbs and head nod, got to the other side and took a few pics. That’s a first.

I think the only things we know for sure is that it's a Leaf Green '73.

It was badged as a T. So, 73.5 is my guess. Interior is Tan or Fawn with what looked like cord inserts. It’s barely a two car wide road and I was parked in the street, got out to take the shot.
If the owner is reading, that was me in the bright yellow Cherokee lurking in the street. ![]() Don’t think I’ve see it around before. I’d have remembered for sure! Paint looked VERY nice, straight panels. Damn, I didn’t take note of the plate. I was coming uphill (left side of the photo and just got a glimpse of the rear end and profile when driving up. Snapped this on the way back down. Had the wife with me with the rolling eye thang goin on so, couldn’t geek out any more than this. She can be cranky before she’s had that second cup ‘o joe.

Yeah, that’s stunning. Excellent shutter work. I also like the way that it’s framed with the awesome *downhill slope* parking pad, so California.
![]() I’m acquiring a ‘73 911T as we type, a LOT of them came with the fender arch trim seen here. It must have been part of the appearance package that year(?)

Oh yeah, there can never be too much green in a photo. It’s the color of life

Don’t think the wheel arch trim was an automatic with appearance group. My brain is telling me that I’ve seen it more on the ‘73s than other years so, maybe the dealers were either pushing the options to customers or were ordering more so equipped.

The tinted glass on that 911 really looks great, too. Was that standard?

Yes, 73 would have been standard tint I think. Rose Passion is having new pieces made these days and it is absolutely delicious. I'm restoring a 68 door frame set now and the customer sent new glass for the tilt vent window and the quarter window. It is so perfect and pretty.

Nope. I could make you guess but it would go forever. It is a *Paint to Sample* car that was delivered in Anthracite and then the owner saw a new 911 at the dealer years later and had the car painted in the "then new" current shade, which I think is *Light Metallic Blue* but may be slightly off in a wonderful way.
