Airline tickets

In december we bought aircanada tickets seattle to barcelona and exit row seats were 825 each including checked bags and a bicycle - a little cheaper than last year. We paid with credit card points we got from signing up for a new card.

No premium economy for us - it was 2-3x the price for what? Better airplane food? A bigger tv screen? I can stand the discomfort of a narrow seat for the price of 8 great meals. Can taste it now: looking out over the river - cheese platter, lamb chops, beef tartar and an incredible red.

Anyway the flight is the time to sleep. Wife is small and I get terrible jet lag so I dose myself with zolpidam to get going on reclocking my sleep schedule.

$649 round trip to Europe sounds pretty damn fair. I typically pay more for a domestic ticket.
