Leafs vs Oilers

Who wins? How many games?

I’ll do one but I would not want to be playing the Blues right now. Even with the leagues best goalie in Winnipeg.

LA vs oinklers (I stole that sobriquet) - LA in 6
Lanche vs 'rats' - Lanch in 6 - gonna be a rough series
Jets vs St. Loo - the Blues dream ride is over
Can't stand Vegas - they're too damn good for the Wild
TO vs Sens - TO should take it in 5
Les Canadiens vs Caps - my pick for an upset
I really don't have much of a feel for the other contests

Let the real season begin as we've not seen much 'high level' hockey since the "4 Nations Tourney"

OK I know there are more brave souls out there who watch hockey.
C'mon and give us some predictions.

Leafs and Jets to the final for an epic Canadian series.
Leafs in 6. Gotta dream!

Well lets see if we can get more involved:

What happened to Ulmark? Did he srew up or did the D let him down?

-Will the Caps carry the Ovi record into the playoffs or will they crash after the big celebration?

-Who will win the battle over Florida?

Seems like a lot of blowouts the first few games. I hope things get more competitive.
The Canes/Devils game certainly had emotion.

Caps/Habs game is turning out to be quite a battle.
2-2 going into the first OT.

Well that didn't take long.

The Panthers showed up with their claws out tonight. Tore the Lightning to shreds. The score wasn't close but the game was full of emotion.

MN showed up as well

Felt bad for the Habs last night.
They tried really hard, but the 2 defensive breakdowns cost them the game.

LA vs earlers; Cats vs Bolts - a couple of 'beat-downs'. Let's hope the Jets vs St. Loo tilt is a little closer. The Caps vs Habs is a decent series but I'll have to adjust my pick re: upset. The Lanche/rats series is now a 'pick-em'. Minny surprised me - good on 'em!

Panthers/Lightning game was wild. 1-0 for the majority of the game with adrenaline to the max. Hagel's cheap shot hit on Barkov deserves a meeting with player safety. It was a blatant intent to injure.

Leafs up 3 games to zip against the Sens. I predicted the Leafs to take the series but didn't expect a blowout.

The Caps/Habs game was wild.
BOTH teams had their goalie taken out of the game due to injuries.
The Line brawl at the end of the second period was worth the price of admission.

What-in-hell was the LA bench thinking?? That challenge wasn't tooo clearly thought through - oinklers back in the game & series. The hockey gods finally gave the Sens an OT break. This series could get even more interesting & entertaining. Jets vs St. Loo should be a tough battle - Hellebuyck has to get back to 'form'

Does anyone think the Habs can win Wednesday night? I think they may be done.
