If you’re using an iPad you can use the microphone and dictate right to the iPad. Hang in there, brother.

He’s got to be ‘pooling’ up all those posts we’ve been missing these past few weeks. Sort of like a fenced in Mustang just let out of the gate. 😉
Happy Father's Day Paul , and to all the dads.

Pwd here. Trying the 'puter again. Progress is slow but now can surf with the mouse without too many errors, and finger dexterity improving. I can feel a gain in leg strength with exercising. can get in & ou5t of chair more easily, the walker easer to use, can can now stand for maybe 2 minutes without having to grab the walker. oF COURSE, i'TS handy...but I'm a long way from where I was in the beginning. Gotta hang on to that..

Still working...trying & mostly succeeding at avoiding dark spells..

Brian Wilson's death sent me there, briefly. Took me a spell to pull out of that...

'tIL LATER...

COB..

(edit) One bit of advice... next time you take a leak, don't take peeing standing for granted. There may come a time when being able to do so is a giant leap along the recovery path.

Paul, right after I had my hip replaced, I was using a walker to get around. It is indeed a difficult thing to use a walker, and stand and pee, BTDT.

It was just motivation to get better faster! Keep getting better.

Nice to know nothing's changed. Actually, I have been posting some responses to OT threads. Good therapy for my slowly returning finger dexterity & sensitivity.

A therapy evaluation earlier today. Simple physical stuff, timed. In & out of a chair 5 times using the walker, going 10', turning, returning to the start, etc. Before these tests, I was down because I can'5 walk unaided. But it turns out that I'm doing these in less than half the time of 2 weeks ago.
So, taking all the progress I can.

Happy 250th to the USA!
