Nice to Know - Update on PWD

Tuesday, PWD72s had a fall in the house and couldn't get up. I called a neighbor, then 911 and he was transported to the Corvallis Hospital. Once there it was determined that some of the discs in his neck were fused. He didn't have use of his hands or legs. A wonderful surgeon said he needed surgery ASAP. Paul agreed since he couldn't move. Surgery happened right then. I called our daughter, and she flew right out from Sioux Falls. This morning, he was in far less pain and was talking with the nursing staff about starting rehab at an acute care facility. There are several in Oregon and they expect it could take up to 6 months to get him up and functioning. Meanwhile, you won't be hearing from him and I won't respond to your posts. i just wanted you all to know why you weren't hearing from him. MRS. PWD72s

Hoping Paul rebounds quickly and is showing us whipper snappers a thing or two around the pool table again sooner than later.
